Preparing for a shoot? Here are 7 things you MUST do.

After a client books their session with us we try to go over what should be done next. Here are a few ideas.
1. Don’t get your hair cut within 4 days of your session, your hair needs a little time to grow out to look like your hair style.
2. Pick your colors of your outfits, solids look best and your top should have a sleeve to cover your arms a little.
3. Bring different type of outfits, not just a different color top to wear with jeans. Examples would be bring something you would wear on a date, wear to Church, or something that you would were when you are going out with your friends.
4. Don’t try a new make up style on the day of your pictures, do your make up just like you are going out on a date.
5. Make plans on arriving at least 15 minutes early to your session.
6. If you would like to bring your music with you,  we have ways where you can play it.
7. Plan to have some fun, the more you put into the session the more you get out of it and more fun you will have.

Santa coming to Macon…….Macon Holiday Photographer

Santa is coming to town!

That’s right Santa is right around the corner again.  Yes, we always have to think about this even though it’s not even Halloween :-).

Santa will arrive at 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 19th but will only be with us until 1 p.m.  So tell your children to start making their lists to share with Santa while you’re getting busy contacting us to schedule your appointment.  No cookies needed.

We have a couple of different packages this year and as always Chris can videotape your session with Santa.

Packages start at $74.95 (without video).

You can always visit us at abphotos.com

Christmas Cards

Don’t forget to order your Christmas cards early this year.  Every year it seems like there’s less and less time to get those cards out.

We are offering 4×8 slimline cards and 5×7 photo cards.

Visit our main website for more information.

Oh, and btw, you can use ANY image that we’ve taken this year, and it doesn’t have to be a Christmas image.  We also offer cards with multiple pictures.  If you can imagine it, we can make it.

Portraits in the Park

Yes, it’s also time for family portraits in the park.

This is a great time for you to update your family portraits especially if you’ve added a family member, have a child going off to college, or even college children returning.

Any reason is a good reason to update your Family Album.

Call us today at 478-744-0990 for more details.

SENIOR PORTRAITS

We are continuing to take Senior Portraits for the class of 2012. Give us a call if you haven’t had your high school senior pictures made. You can see our lastest images at our blog here

Prom for FPD & MDS Macon school photographer

What a weekend.

FPD held their Jr/Sr High School Prom Friday night at the Goodwill Center here in Macon.  The kids were all decked out and looked great.  We did formals pictures before and after the Senior lead out.  The kids then danced to the live band on stage and some of the kids got on stage and sang with the band.  It looked like everyone had a great time.

MDS held their Jr/Sr High School Prom on Saturday night downtown at the Cox Capitol Theatre.   The kids were also decked out and looking sharp.  We also set up and did formal pictures after senior lead out.  The kids danced all night, some on stage and some on the floor but it looked liked everyone had fun also.

Busy weekend but I love seeing the kids dressed up and having fun at their proms!!!

Pictures should be on the web soon at www.abphotos.com/photocart

Bennett & Carter Wedding

This past Saturday, Lindsey and Daron were married at Riverside United Methodist Church here in Macon.  What a great couple to shoot in a beautiful setting.  The reception was held at the  Howard Community Center where Rock D Productions was ready for their arrival.  Flowers were artfully arranged by The Flower Shop and the event was catered by Helen Hall.

Lindsey looked great and everyone had a great time.  Check back within the next 3 weeks for more images.carter-0442

Frachiseur & Wicker Wedding

What a day!  May 09, 2009

Chris and I went to the rehearsal and dinner on Friday night and got to know a lot more about Trisha and Jared as they were growing up.  It is amazing what people will share before the big day!

The wedding was at the bride’s parents’ house in Locust Grove, Georgia.  We had super weather on  Saturday.   We were able to photograph them in the fields and throughout the day.  Here are a few images from the day and we should have more on the web by June 10th.
