Bridal Show Winner

Every show that Macon’s Wedding Ring has we offer a grand prize. This year winner was Kelli Hufnagel.

Kelli Hufnagel, 25, has been engaged a little more than two weeks, and while she has a lot to do to get ready for her Valentine’s Day wedding and outfit her home, she’s ready for a cookout.

Hufnagel, of Bonaire, was the grand prize winner of a complete outdoor cooking set which included a large stainless steel grill, patio umbrella, cookbook, place mats, a tub full of grilling tools and a blender.

She attended the event with her mother, her future mother-in-law and future sister-in-law.

As soon as she won, she tried repeatedly to reach her fiance, Jared Cross, on her cell phone, but he was playing golf and couldn’t be reached.

“We just started looking at houses, so this is great,” Hufnagel said.

Macon’s Wedding Ring next show is in January at the Armory Ballroom. Check back here for more information or check my site www.abphotos.com

Jones-Varnum Wedding in Macon, GA

Amanda Jones and Doug Varnum were married August 9th 2008 at Forrest Hills United Methodist Church here in Macon.

The Church was decorated by Linda Christie (L’Eventment “The Event”) http://www.theevent2.com/

After the ceremony we went to Healy Point for the reception and it was a fun time. Rock D was the DJ and Foley Productions was doing the video.

After the couple left Healy Point they stay at the 1842 inn for the night before heading out for their honeymoon.

Remember we can shoot your wedding even if you are not getting married in the Middle Georgia area.

Underwater Seniors

WOW!

This was fun. I had the chance to photograph 2 high school seniors underwater. These are some of the most usual portraits I have ever taken. If you are interested in this type of photography give us a call.

Community Foundation

I got to photography a big news event here in Macon last week. As most of you know when the Mother’s Day storm came thru it left a lot of damage.

Grainger, a local business-to-business distributor of facilities maintenance supplies, contributed $50,000 to the Community Foundation of Central Georgia (CFCG) to help small businesses in Macon and the surrounding areas rebuild. CFCG will administer the funds through a grant process open to locally operated and independent small businesses.

, president of the Community Foundation, said locally owned businesses that promise to reopen and remain open at least one year can apply for the money. Dennis has compiled what she says is probably an incomplete list of 25 locally owned companies harmed by the storms.

Posey_Poole Wedding

Posey and Poole Wedding!

What a great wedding! Laura and Jacob were super to work with and everyone had a great time.

The wedding was at Vineville Methodist Church here in Macon with the reception at The Blacksmith Shop in downtown Macon. http://www.blacksmithshop.net/

The Blacksmith shop is a great place for your events. With over 200 guests it was not crowded at all.

Here are a few of the photos from the wedding and I will have all of them posted on the web shortly at: www.abphotos.com/photocart
