Macon’s Wedding Ring Bridal Show

The Bridal show in Perry was super. Thanks to everyone that attended this event.

I had a chance to meet and talk to lots of brides that are getting married this year and next year.

Congratulations to all of you.

We have even talked to brides since the show and booked one for this year and two for next year! Looking forward to all of them.

I was interview by channel 24 and channel 13 during the show. Here is a link to 13WMAZ’s video:

The next show will be in January at The Armory Ballroom combined with The Blacksmith Shop in downtown Macon.

This week 8/4 thur 8/10

I can not believe it is August already. This week is going to be crazy.

First off today (8-4) we will be at FPD shooting the Fall sports photos for packages and the program. Then we have Seniors coming in the rest of the week. Thursday is St Joe’s first day of school for the new year and Friday is Monroe’s first day of school.  Saturday we have two great weddings coming up (Alan will be shooting one and I will be shooting another one) and Sunday is Macon’s Wedding Ring Bridal Show in Perry, Ga.  So stay tune!

Community Foundation

I got to photography a big news event here in Macon last week. As most of you know when the Mother’s Day storm came thru it left a lot of damage.

Grainger, a local business-to-business distributor of facilities maintenance supplies, contributed $50,000 to the Community Foundation of Central Georgia (CFCG) to help small businesses in Macon and the surrounding areas rebuild. CFCG will administer the funds through a grant process open to locally operated and independent small businesses.

, president of the Community Foundation, said locally owned businesses that promise to reopen and remain open at least one year can apply for the money. Dennis has compiled what she says is probably an incomplete list of 25 locally owned companies harmed by the storms.

Posey and Poole Wedding!

What a great wedding! Laura and Jacob were super to work with and everyone had a great time.

The wedding was at Vineville Methodist Church here in Macon with the reception at The Blacksmith Shop in downtown Macon. http://www.blacksmithshop.net/

The Blacksmith shop is a great place for your events. With over 200 guests it was not crowded at all.

Here are a few of the photos from the wedding and I will have all of them posted on the web shortly at: www.abphotos.com/photocart

Thanks for looking
