FPD held their annual elementary school Christmas musical last week. The kids did a super job along with the teachers (Mrs. Childers and Ms. Nichols). Here are a few of the images. There are more at our website at www.abphotos.comand click on the images online link.
Former FPD head coach Phillip McLeroy, who retired after 36 years and his last girls basketball team won an improbable state championship last year, was treated to a dominating preformance by his former team on the newly named Coach Mac’s Court at the Middlebrooks Athletic Center on FPD’s campus.
Coach Mac told us he will be a every game that he can make at Middlebrooks Athletic Center and also make some of the road games to watch his former players and students.
More images from the games and of Coach Mac can be viewed at www.abphotos.com
The name of the play is “30 Reasons not to be in a Play.”
I finally had the chance to photograph some of it. The play was very good. I guess that is the reason they are in Albany today to compete with other schools. They are going for the SUPERIOR rating. Good Luck!! UPDATE
Congratulations to Grace Tinkey for winning the varsity girls meet. An eighth-grader, she dominated the field, winning by 39 seconds. Way to go Grace!!
FPD boys win the State!
Led by Andrew Scott and Robert Bradham, who finished fourth and sixth respectively, the FPD runners cruised to a 40-point win over runner up Augusta Prep.
Congratulations to the whole team and Coach Morgan.
I should have more photos on line by the end of the week. Go to www.abphotos.com and click on the sports online link.
