Saxby Chambliss’ bus tour of Georgia stopped in Macon this morning.
While there, I captured a few photos. Saxby is running for re-election to the US Senate. Rick Goddard and his wife, Judy, were there also. Rick Goddard is running for Congress in Georgia’s 8th Congressional District. Sonny Perdue, Governor of Georgia, was also there to introduce Saxby and his wife, Julianne, to the crowd that gathered in the Kroger parking lot on Zebulon Road.
I had a chance to see and visit the Haunted House put on by Monroe Academy. It was super! They are opening it to the public this weekend. It will be open Friday Halloween Night from 7pm until Midnight, and then on Saturday Nov 1st open from 5pm until around 8pm. You need to check it out. Here are a couple of photos. The location is off Highway 41and Montpelier. This is between Macon and Forsyth, GA. Hope to see you there.
Yesterday Chris and I shot the wedding of Anna Owenby and Billy Thomas. The wedding was at Massey Lane Gardens in Fort Valley. If you have never been there it is worth the trip to go and look at the gardens. I photograph Anna when she attended Monroe Academy.
After the wedding we went into the gardens with Anna and Billy and did a few shots from there. Here is a couple of them.
There will be more on our website in about 4 weeks. You can go and check them out then at www.abphotos.com
One more of them leaving!
Thanks for looking and leave any comments that you might have.
This week was Monroe Academy homecoming for 2008. I went to MA for the power puff game Thursday night and also stayed around for the bonfire. It was a lot of fun to photograph and see the kids have fun. The game was last night and will have more on that later. I now have the images on the web from Thursday night including Senior night from softball. They are located at www.abphotos.com

I was able to shoot some of the Viking football action the other Saturday. Here are a few of the images:
The Viking Football League was developed in the fall of 2001 by Head Football Coach, Greg Moore, and a devoted FPD parent. Their sole purpose was, and still is, to introduce football to the youth of the Middle Georgia community, emphasizing the fundamentals of the game while encouraging teamwork, fair play, and most of all…FUN!
Today the VFL has become the home for over 150 young boys and girls. Players and cheerleaders are coached by volunteer coaches and team mom’s, who abide by the guiding rules and ideals that began the league. We hope you’ll join us in our mission to teach and encourage today’s youth in a God-honoring way.
