Jones/Varnum Wedding – Macon Wedding Photographer

A couple of years back I was at the rehearsal for the Jones/Varnum wedding at Forrest Hill United Methodist Church here in Macon. For superstitious reasons, the bride did not want to walk down the aisle with her Dad before the wedding. All night they had one of the bridesmaids walk with Dad, well on the last “run” the bridesmaids was nowhere to be found and it was time to open the doors. Behind the doors was Dad, bride, coordinator, videographer, and of course me. After the bride told her Dad “NO” twice I just walked up, took the flowers from her and gave Dad my arm and we opened the doors to walk down the aisle. Everyone started cracking up laughing but it was a fun walk. Some of the family members took pictures and I finally got a copy to put up on the blog.

ACC Tournament 2010 Results: Duke Tops Miami, Will Face Georgia Tech in ACC Championship Game

Miami’s miracle run ended on Saturday as No. 1 Duke slipped by the 12th-seeded Hurricanes, 77-74.

Georgia Tech pulled out a three-point victory over the Wolfpack in Saturday’s other semifinal game, 57-54.

The Blue Devils will now take on the Yellow Jackets for the ACC crown on Sunday.

Wow, can you believe Easter is almost here. A big thanks to all of our clients asking about our Easter sessions. We are happy to announce we have selected the dates and are now accepting bookings for March 11th thru 25th. We will have limited sessions available so please call the studio soon to reserve your session. Due to popular demand we are printing QuickProofs so that our Moms can choose the best image.

With limited sessions this year, please be prepared to reserve and pay for your package at the time of booking so we can focus on the kids when they come in to see Honey Bunny. Call 478-744-0990 to make your reservations.

Brandi and Jeff Todd’s Wedding in Darien, Georgia

Chris and I have returned from our destination wedding in Darien, GA to where we photographed Brandi and Jeff’s wedding.

We went to the rehearsal dinner Friday night at Skippers Fish Camp which has awesome food. Before the wedding on Saturday, Brandi’s dad took us on a tour of Brandi’s hair and nail salon called BAM’s on the Bluff.

What a neat salon! She has painted it in bright colors and has everything you need to be pampered. “Get Glammed at Bam’s!” Jeff owns and operates Todd’s Interstate Truck & Auto Repair in Darien, GA.

The wedding was at the First Baptist Church in downtown Darien. The reception followed immediately in the reception hall. Family and friends did an outstanding job decorating the church and the reception. As you can see in the pictures, Brandi was gorgeous and Jeff was very handsome. They had a special moment prior to the formal pictures. We were only able to take a few images outside since the wind was blowing around 35 mph, but at least it was not raining. It was just a fun time all day long.
