Friday was First Presbyterian Day School’s Homecoming for 2009.  Got to see and talk to a lot of students that have left FPD and was able to catch-up where they are now.  It was a fun night,  no rain and also the team won! Susanne Stokes was named Homecoming Queen and the whole court looked...

First Presbyterian Day School played Westminster Saturday night for the state championship title in girls soccer.  The game was tied at the end and they played 4 overtimes and then had to shoot penalty kicks.  FPD lost on the  PK’s 4-3.  FPD finished the season at 22-1. Congratulations to Grace Tinkey for winning the varsity girls meet. An eighth-grader, she dominated the field, winning by 39 seconds. Way to go Grace!! FPD boys win the State! Led by Andrew Scott and Robert Bradham, who finished fourth and sixth respectively, the FPD runners cruised to a 40-point win over runner up Augusta Prep....
